Located in Ballarat’s CBD, The George Hotel is situated on the towns most historic streetscape, Lydiard Street North. The hotel is within walking distance to Her Majesty’s Theatre, The Ballarat Fine Art Gallery, The Regent Multiplex Movie Theatre, the Ballarat Visitor Information Centre as well as cafes, restaurants, city shopping and public transport.
The Hotel includes two dining outlets, The Heritage Bar and The Lane which boast an art deco decor and friendly atmosphere. We invite you to come and dine in with friends and family while enjoying something classic or contemporary from our new menu.
The George Hotel has 6 event spaces. These function rooms can accommodate from 10 guests in a Boardroom to up to 365 guests in our largest event space. We have many menu and bar packages available to choose from, or we can design something custom just for you. Tables can be arranged to your liking, and we have modern audio/visual systems for your presentation and entertainment needs.
